Today we released an update to Browsium Catalyst which adds support for Windows 10 and includes a number of customer-requested improvements. Windows 10 momentum continues to grow, and enterprises are already beginning to plan their migration strategies. As we announced last month, our partner HP has integrated Browsium products as core components of its WebApp Accelerator Service for Internet Explorer 11, part of their Enterprise Services for Windows 10. That’s why we prioritized Windows 10 support in this Catalyst release (along with Ion 3.6 that we released last month). It’s important to note that “Windows 10 support” means Catalyst 3.1 works with IE11, not with the new Edge browser, which has no extension model at this time. However, we will be looking for opportunities to help Edge become a great enterprise browser in the future, so stay tuned.
