Browsium Client 4.0 and newer
Various endpoint protection or virus scan suites that employ active memory monitoring can sometimes flag the Browsium Client for various security exceptions. This is due to the way that the Browsium Client injects into processes for Ion-related functions.
To prevent this from happening we recommend whitelisting the following folders:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Browsium
C:\ProgramData\Browsium
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Browsium
Due to the differences in how various endpoint protection suites monitor for violations, additional support may be required in order to help your organization develop a whitelisting strategy that works in your environment. For help, please contact Browsium Support.
